Humans are the ultimate movers.

Why did we stop moving like it?

We can run, jump, crawl, swim, lift heavy things, and swing from bars above us.

But somewhere along the way… we stopped.

We sit more than we squat.

We train in boxes and chase aesthetics — while forgetting how to hang, jump, and move from the ground with ease.

We’ve lost the basics.

And it’s costing us our strength, our mobility, and our confidence.

The Human Animal Method is an 8-week system that brings those abilities back — through primal movement, real-world strength, and skill-building that actually carries over to life.

Move Like A Human Again

Real humans. Real results.

Feels good to just move the way the body wants to move.

Dan

More intense, more deeply felt, and so much more aligned with what it means to move like a real human.

Max

I'm rediscovering how to enjoy moving my body in a way that feels right.

Michael

What if you’re not broken —

Just disconnected from how you were meant to move?

Do you have stiff joints? A tight lower back? A tad overweight?

Could pain and tight muscles be linked to losing our fundamental human abilities?

Your body was built to:

✔️ Sit on the ground comfortably

✔️ Rest in a deep squat

✔️ Hang from a bar overhead with ease

✔️ Run barefoot in the grass — without pain

But most of us have lost those abilities.

And it’s showing up as tightness, weakness, and disconnection.

We can become strong, flexible, and fast.

And even better…

We can feel excited to move our bodies.

Like we did as kids — moving not because we think we have to,

but because it feels good.

Because it feels like us.

Each week, we explore...

The 5 Primal Pillars

These are the foundations of how our bodies are meant to move. When we train all five together, we rebuild a complete, adaptable, and animal-like body.

The missing piece.

Why locomotion matters

Modern exercise can make you look good — no doubt.

You can get stronger, build muscle, improve endurance…

But we miss a vital component of human movement: Locomotion.

Locomotion means moving from A to B — and all of our most important human abilities involve it.

Crawling. Running. Jumping. Rolling. Swinging. Climbing.

And here’s what no one talks about: Locomotion always involves the spine.

Rotation through your hips, shoulders, and torso naturally moves your fascia.

It’s the kind of movement that keeps your body healthy — without needing endless stretches or corrective drills.

Let’s remember something simple: Humans are animals.

We didn’t evolve to sit in chairs and stare at screens.

We were made to move — to squat, carry, crawl, hang, and roam for hours.

Not because we were working out, but because our survival depended on it.

No wonder so many of us feel stiff, weak, and disconnected.

But you can take back your abilities.

And with that comes vitality, youthfulness, and confidence in your body again.

Why Primal Movement?

If we only do the linear exercises we find in the gym mixed with periods of inactivity, we can lose our natural movement abilities and develop stiffness. Here's why we train Primal Movement:

  1. Organic movement patterns. The human body is designed to bend and twist in infinite ranges of motion. Our muscles and fascia stay healthy through moving the body through all its possible ranges.
  2. Develops a unique style of strength. Strength that comes from the core. Strength that is balanced. Strength that matters in day-to-day life.
  3. Good for the mind. Moving in creative new ranges unlocks new patterns of thought.
  4. Great conditioning. Primal movement conditions the body and can often lead to fat loss and a leaner physique, minus the cardio.
  5. Improves mobility. By using ranges often overlooked in everyday training. When you use a position with a movement, your body has a good reason to hold onto it.
  6. It's fun. Ready to refresh for your exercise plan?
